We offer three distinct areas where you can pitch your tent or park your caravan.
A small field, bordered by hedges, flowers and trees, offers a secluded spot to say. Rabbits, pheasants and water hen regularly visit, as do our free range chickens. Water pipes and electric hook up points are located round the edge, and it’s a short walk from the toilet and free shower block. Wooden picnic benches are also dotted about the field for use by campers. If you’re planning to camp as a large group, we could arrange that the paddock is for your sole use.
the sunset strip
A long, grassy edge to a field, sheltered by trees on the north and east side, this camping area looks west across arable land. Although more open to the elements, it is often a quieter spot and as the name suggests, you can watch the sun go down from here. Deer sometimes visit, as do pheasants and rabbits. Water pipes and electric hook up points run all the way up the strip, and it’s a short walk through the trees to the shower block.
Closer to the shower block, we provide hard standing for when the weather is wet, or for those who just prefer a firmer footing. Electric hook up is provided here too.
£15 a night for a pitch, whether it’s a tent or caravan. This includes 2 adults and 1 car.
Electric hook up is an extra £3 a night.
Extra adults or children over the age of 5 are £1 a night, with children aged 5 and under free.
“We stayed on the campsite. We were warmly welcomed by Katie and Iain, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The site is very large, plenty of room for a private pitch and for the children to play. The facilities were exceptionally clean, with showers and warm water. The picnic benches were a lovely touch and great for sharing meals.
The whole site is maintained and managed to a very high standard. We will definitely be returning.” Trip Advisor
